Valdis "Val" Semeiks is an American comic book artist who has mostly worked for DC and Marvel Comics. Val has also illustrated, fantasy author, R.A. Salvatore's 'Icewind Dale' Trilogy in three comic book mini-series (Crystal Shard, Streams of Silver and Halfling's Gem). Starting in Fall 2009 he will be contributing to Marvel's relaunch of 'Web of Spider-Man.'
