Born in California in 1946, artist Marilyn Simandle began working in watercolor at the age of six. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of California at San Jose, she worked with watercolors, and then later moved into oils in the 1990s. Marilyn Simandle prints are extremely popular, and more than 80 Marilyn Simandle gallery shows have been held throughout the U.S. She is a member of the Plein-Air Painters of America and Oil Painters of America.
