Artist Lebadang was a Vietnamese abstract artist and sculptor who spent most of his career in Paris, France. After studying at the prestigious Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Toulouse, Lebandang exhibited his first solo show in 1950, and to great acclaim. He was an artist who used multiple mediums to express his work including ceramics, foam board, and glass, as well as paint and pencils.
Artist Lebadang interwove European with Far East imagery into his work and often played with the dynamic between man and nature. Lebadang’s original art is peppered with a glorious palette of intense blues and bright oranges and reds. He also loved printmaking, and Lebadang art prints for sale include lithographs, serigraphs, and etches, with the lithographs under the name of Hoi.
