Ukrainian artist Anatoly Metlan was born in Yalta in 1964. Metlan's creative inclinations were encouraged early on by his artistic parents, leading to his enrollment in an arts secondary school where he honed his talents. While attending classes at Krivoi Rog University, Metlan began to exhibit his paintings with great success, and he later became a member of the Artists Guild of Ukraine.
As an artist, Anatoly Metlan's work appears to be heavily influenced by the Impressionist movement, which is demonstrated by the manner in which he portrays light and mood in his scenic depictions and vibrant pictures of Mediterranean coastal landscapes and vibrant, joyful dancers. Anatoly Metlan's prints and paintings are available at galleries throughout the world. Collectors can find many fine contemporary urban and seascape prints for sale online at Invaluable.
