Amram Ebgi

Artist Amram Ebgi depicted his Jewish culture and love of Israel through lithographs, silkscreen creations, oil paintings, and etchings. Born in Morocco, he immigrated to Israel’s Kfar Blum kibbutz in 1951. After serving in the Israeli Six Day War, he returned to his painting studio in the community of Kfar Blum and was soon commissioned by the Organization Kibbutzim to be their official state designer. He moved to the U.S. in 1981 and continued his work there.

Amram Ebgi's lithographs are extremely detailed and colorful, and the artist has been known to spend up to two months on a single piece. The majority of artist Amram Ebgi’s prints for sale are cultural or spiritual pieces that show the cities of Israel or scenes from Hebrew scripture.
